I have been licensed since 1981. I took the 3 part certificate exam with the
German Telekom testing centre in Bremen, Germany.
Over the years I have worked most of europe in SSB and CW,
mostly on 2 and 10 meters. But my licence meant to me
that I could build my own transmitters and receivers together
with the antenna and power output amplifiers. Last of which was 144-146MHz
480 Watt SSB power output stage.
